Purpose of the book- the author:

Janesta Pulella has been a wildlife artist for most of her life.

While studying to become a field guide since 2004, Janesta would sketch any information that was important or difficult to understand. It was the easiest way for her to understand how certain aspects in the natural world worked.

The suggestion was made to combine all the sketches and produce a book.

Janesta thought that the easy-to-understand illustrations, together with some explanatory information, would help other nature enthusiasts to interpret certain aspects about the bush when sharing their knowledge with others.

The book is not a guidebook to be used as a means of identifying any animal, rock or plant.

It is simply a book that any nature lover can use when trying to understand or even explain interesting facts to a companion.

Janesta’s ideal aim was to pass on the knowledge she gained while studying, through the use of her illustrations.

Pathfinder, Illustrated for Nature Enthusiasts took Janesta six years to complete.

The drawings are simple and easy to understand, used to illustrate and explain useful information, which any nature enthusiast or field guide may want to pass on while out in the field.

The book is not a guidebook to be used as a means of identifying any animal, rock or tree. It is simply a book that any nature lover can use when trying to understand or even explain certain aspects of nature to a companion.
